Nōht is bio-performance activewear built from plants, not petroleum.
The activewear industry has spent decades making a particular decision on our behalf. Polyester, conventional nylon, petroleum-based spandex. Not because they were the best option for the body, but because they were cheap to produce, easy to scale and profitable to discount. The decision was made quietly, and then it was made again with every product that followed.
Nōht began with a different question. One that came not from a market gap or a trend report, but from a personal experience that made the standard answer unacceptable. The story behind it is worth reading. What it produced, after two years of material development and independent laboratory testing, is a bio-performance textile built from seaweed-enriched cellulose, plant-derived bio-nylon and bio-based elastane. Full performance. No petrochemical foundation.
The people who wear nōht are already asking the same questions about everything else they put in and on their bodies. They read ingredients. They understand that what sits against their skin for several hours a day is not a neutral variable. They are not looking to be corrected or optimised. They have simply decided that when something better exists, they would like to know.
